No, Once a Sale Is Created and Shipped, the Gift Card Merchant Cannot Be Changed
When selling items to Croissant, you’ll be asked to select a gift card merchant as your payout method during the sale process (for non-cash sales). This selection can only be changed if you cancel the sale before shipping and start over.
Once your items have been shipped, the sale is locked, and we are unable to update the merchant for your store credit. Our processing and payout systems cannot accommodate changes once the shipping process has begun.
What If I Selected the Wrong Merchant?
If you have not yet shipped your items, you can cancel the sale and start over with a new merchant selection:
1. Go to your Account Profile
2. Navigate to the Activity section
3. Find the pending sale and cancel it
4. Create a new sale and select the correct gift card merchant
If your items have already been shipped or processed, the payout will be issued to the merchant you originally selected, and we will not be able to make adjustments.
Why Can’t the Gift Card Merchant Be Changed?
Due to technical and logistical constraints, we are unable to modify the payout merchant once processing has begun.
We understand that mistakes happen, and we are actively working to improve flexibility within our system. In the meantime, please double-check your merchant selection before confirming your sale to ensure it aligns with your preferences.
