Croissant gives you control over what information is visible to others and how your activity appears across the app. You can manage your profile details, visibility, and sharing preferences at any time.
How to Edit Your Profile
You can access your profile settings from anywhere in the app.
Navigate to the Community or Home page
Tap on the profile icon in the top left
Tap on the pencil icon in the top right to edit your profile
From the Edit Profile screen, you can manage:
Your profile photo
Your cover photo
Your display name and username
Public vs Private Profile
You can choose whether your profile is public or private.
Public Profile: When your profile is public, your activity on Croissant may appear in the main Feed and be shared with the community. Other users can view your profile and your public Collection.
Private Profile: When your profile is private, your profile and Collection are not visible to anyone and your activity will not appear in anyone's public Feed.
You can switch between public and private at any time from Edit Profile.
Information Visibility for Private Profiles
Anyone who can access your profile will be able to view the above information as well as see your followers and following lists. Want to hide away your collection? This is what anyone will see if you're a private user:
Managing Connections and Sharing
You control who can follow you by choosing whether your profile is public or private.
You can unfollow users or remove items from your Collection at any time.
