Setup instructions:
Ensure you have the Croissant app installed on your mobile iOS device. You must have the Croissant app and an account to enable the mobile Safari extension. Currently, the mobile extension is only supported on mobile iOS devices.
Ensure that Safari is your Default Browser App in your Settings > Safari.
Open the Safari app, then tap the AA in the Address Bar. This may be a different icon for different versions of iOS. In that case, tap the leftmost icon in the address bar.
Click “Manage Extensions” from the popup window, then toggle on Croissant. The toggle should be green.
A permissions review popup should appear in the top bar. Click “Review.” If you do not see the Review bar pop up, click the AA in the Address Bar again, then tap “Manage Extensions.” You should notice an exclamation mark by the Croissant icon, signaling you need to review permissions.
Note: In order to provide Guaranteed Buyback™ Values, we collect basic item information: price, brand, item name, color, and merchant. Croissant’s browser extensions only collect data for sites on our list of supported merchants, and therefore we do not collect shopping or browsing data from sites that are not our supported merchants. We never store data besides item information to offer you Guaranteed Buybacks.
Next, click “Always Allow” on the popup window. This ensures you’ll be able to see Guaranteed Buybacks across all supported sites moving forward.
Finally, click “Always Allow on Every Website.”
Note: In order to offer Guaranteed Buyback values on eligible items from our 100+ supported brands, we require access to every website. Again, the extension only collects item information data, and only from our supported sites. We never store data besides item information to offer you Guaranteed Buybacks.
