Can I sell items I bought before joining Croissant?
Yes! You don't need to buy an item through Croissant to sell it. If you already own an item from a partner retailer you can import it into your Croissant Collection and list it for resale.
How to import an existing purchase
Open the Croissant app.
Go to your Collection.
Tap Add Item (or the + button).
Search for the item by name, brand, or style, or browse by retailer.
Select the correct item, size, and condition.
Confirm the import — the item will be added to your Collection.
If a resale value appears then the item is eligible for resale.
Why an item might not appear after importing
If you've completed the import steps but the item isn't showing in your Collection, here are the most common causes:
The import didn't fully complete — Try the import flow again from the beginning.
App needs a refresh — Close and reopen the app and check that you're using the most updated version.
The item isn't in our catalog yet — Some items from smaller brands or older seasons may not be eligible for resale at this time. Contact support and we can look into adding it.
What happens after you list an item
Once your item is in your Collection, you can select to sell with us. You'll receive shipping instructions and a prepaid label or QR code to send the item to Croissant. After we receive and inspect it, your credit payout will be applied to your account.
