Can I sell items I bought before joining Croissant?
Yes! You don't need to buy an item through Croissant to sell it. If you already own an item from a partner retailer you can import it into your Croissant Collection and list it for resale.
It's always best to have our Croissant Extension Activated at checkout for easy importing and to earn rewards credit! However, if there are past purchases you'd like to add there are a couple ways to do so
Sync or re-sync your Gmail address to your profile

Open the Croissant app.
Go to your Collection.
Tap Add Item (or the + button).
Add manually or by photo
Fill in required fields such as the item's name, brand, style, and retailer.
Confirm the import — the item will be added to your Collection.

Gmail Sync
When you sync your Gmail, Croissant will automatically import all eligible purchases and assign resale values to these items. Also add as many as you like! Multiple Gmail addresses can be synced to a single profile.
Select the menu icon in the bottom right and click Account Management.
Scroll down to Synced Accounts and select Get Started. Then simply follow Google’s instructions to securely link your account.
Once linked, watch your Collection grow!
Rest assured, Croissant protects your privacy by searching only for email receipts sent directly from our supported brands and retailers. We do not store or access any unnecessary email information beyond what’s required to import your items with accurate details.
* Please note this is a one time pull of your past purchases and will not import new items. You can still get these added by manually importing items, or by re-syncing your Gmail to your profile. To re-sync simply select the x next to the Gmail address to remove it. Then add it again!
Why an item might not appear after importing
If you've completed the import steps but the item isn't showing in your Collection, here are the most common causes:
The import didn't fully complete — Try the import flow again from the beginning.
App needs a refresh — Close and reopen the app and check that you're using the most updated version.
Item is not eligible for a buyback offer.
What happens after you list an item
Once your item is in your Collection, you can select to sell with us. You'll receive shipping instructions and a prepaid label or QR code to send the item to Croissant. After we receive and inspect it, your credit payout will be applied to your account.

Buyback eligibility
Not all items manually imported will be eligible for buyback
Any unknown or unsupported Brands and Retailers will result in ineligibility
If you notice an item you uploaded does not receive a resale value or have a sell option, then it is likely not available to sell
