How to sell items with Croissant

Learn how to initiate a sale and prepare your shipment to Croissant.

1. Start Your Sale

1. Tap the Collection icon on the bottom to view your Collection. From here, you can search or filter by brand, newly added items, or find a specific item you'd like to sell.

2. When you're ready to create your sale, tap the 'Sell an item' button at the top-right of the screen. You will then be brought to items that are eligible to sell with us. You can search for items specifically here, or filter by brand.


3. Select up to 12 items you'd like to include in your shipment (if you have more than 12 items to sell, you'll have to wait for the current shipment to be completed before creating a new shipment for the remaining items). Tap 'Sell Item(s)' to confirm and continue.

4. You will be presented with our Resale Guidelines during every shipment. Please make sure to read them carefully.


2. Choose Your Shipping Option

Croissant ships with UPS and USPS. Confirm your return address and click "Confirm Sale."

šŸ”” Please note: Make sure your address in your Profile is correct before processing your sale to Croissant. The return address used during the sale creation is where any returns will be sent to.

3. Prepare & Send Your Shipment

Pack your item(s) in a box and secure with packing tape. For packaging guidance, we recommend reviewing our Packaging Best Practices article! Now you are ready to drop off your package at your nearest UPS or USPS location using your QR code or printed label.

You can access your QR code or label by going to Menu (found on the Home tab on the top right) > Sales > In Progress > Package > View QR Code. From that screen, tap Print Label if you prefer a printed label instead.

Before shipping, please double-check:

  • Condition: All items must be in Gently Used condition. For more details, please visit our article: What Are Croissant's Quality Standards?

  • Accuracy: Make sure the items you're sending match what's listed in your Sale Details. It is important to verify the image, title and brand of the item in your Collection with the item in your shipment.

  • Make sure to include all item accessories if they are pictured with your item. If those accessories are not included, the item may not pass our quality review.

šŸ”” Please Note: Any unknown or additional items not in your Collection will be donated on your behalf per our Terms and Conditions.


4. Track Your Shipment

You can track your shipment directly in your account. Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner of the Home Page to open the main menu, and go to Sales. Your in-progress shipments will appear under the In Progress tab.

Once your items arrive and pass quality review at our warehouse, your credit will be added to your Wallet.
