You can reset your password from the Login page by clicking the "Forgot Your Password" link located underneath the "Sign In" button. Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions in the email to create a new password. This ensures secure and quick access to your account.

Resolving "Account Already Exists" Errors

If you receive a message that an account already exists with your email address, this indicates that your email is already registered in Croissant. Here's how to resolve this:

  1. Navigate to the login screen of the Croissant app.

  2. Click on the “Forgot Password” option.

  3. Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions to reset your password.

  4. Once your password is reset, use it to log into your account. This method ensures you regain access to your existing account without creating a duplicate.

I received a "User does not exist" error

If you originally signed up using the "Sign up with Apple" or "Sign up with Google" option, you will encounter a "User does not exist" error when attempting to reset your password. This error typically occurs when a user mistakenly tries to log in with a password instead of utilizing a social login option (e.g., Google Sign-In). To resolve this:

  1. On the login screen, select the social login option that matches your registration (e.g., "Log in with Google").

  2. Choose the appropriate social account (e.g., your Google account) linked to the email address you used for Croissant.

  3. Log in without creating or resetting a password. If you continue to encounter issues, double-check that you're selecting the correct social login option.
