What If I Selected the Wrong Merchant?
We understand mistakes can happen, which is why we've added several safeguards to help prevent them.
When you sell an item with Croissant, your earnings are first added to your Wallet as general credit. This gives you full control over:
When you redeem your credit
How much credit you redeem
Which merchant you choose
When you're ready to convert your credit into a gift card:
Select your preferred merchant by tapping the box next to the retailer.
The selected merchant will be highlighted.
Tap Confirm.
4. Review your selection before selecting Confirm.
5. If anything looks incorrect, select off screen to make changes.
6. Once you've verified the details, tap Redeem to issue the gift card.
Why Can't the Merchant Be Changed Afterward?
Just like a physical gift card purchased in a store, digital gift cards cannot be returned once funds have been loaded onto them.
Croissant acts as a distributor of these gift cards and cannot reverse or redirect funds after a gift card has been issued and confirmed. For this reason, we encourage all users to carefully review the merchant and amount on the confirmation screen before completing the transaction.
