How to Convert Credit to a Gift Card

Some partners — including Revolve and FWRD — don't yet support paying with Croissant at checkout. To use your Croissant credit there, convert it into a gift card for that retailer. Here's how.

What you get

Redeeming turns your available Croissant credit into a gift card for one of these partners (like Revolve or FWRD). You can redeem your full balance or just part of it — whatever you don't redeem stays as credit in your Wallet.

How to redeem your credit

In the app

Open your Wallet and tap Get a gift card. You'll see it when you have earned credit. Credit Drops aren't included here: a Revolve or FWRD drop has its own button on its card (see How to Find and Use Your Credit Drops). On the Redeem screen:

  1. Check your available balance — you can redeem up to this amount.

  2. Choose a retailer — tap the box next to the store you want a gift card for.

  3. Tap Confirm — your gift card is generated and saved to your Wallet.

Sign in from the Members menu at croissant.com. In the menu on the left, click Wallet → Overview, then click Get a gift card. You'll see this button when you have credit to redeem. You can also find it under Wallet → Use your credit.

On the Turn credit into a gift card page:

  1. Enter an amount — it starts at your available credit, and the page shows Use up to the most you can use.

  2. Choose a retailer — click the store you want a gift card for.

  3. Click Get a gift card (the button shows your amount), then click Get gift card in the pop-up to confirm.

Your gift card is saved to Wallet → Gift cards.

Using your gift card

Your gift card number stays hidden until you're ready to shop. Open the card from Wallet → Gift cards and tap Copy and shop with the retailer's name (for example, Copy and shop Revolve) ①. It copies the card number and opens the retailer. When you come back to the card, the number shows with a copy button ② in case you need it again. The number is hidden again the next time you open the card, so tap Copy and shop each time. On croissant.com it works the same way: click Copy and shop, and the number shows with a Copy link.

Then use your gift card one of two ways:

  • With the Croissant extension — it detects supported sites and you can apply your code at checkout. New to the extension? See Set up the Croissant extension.

  • By hand — paste the card number into the gift card field at checkout.

Note: the extension only works on a retailer's website, not inside their mobile app. Shopping in the retailer's app (like the Revolve app)? Tap Copy and shop on your card to copy the number, then paste it at checkout in their app.
