How does Croissant pay me?

Written by Croissant Support
Updated over 2 weeks ago

Croissant pays out credit only, and all payouts are added directly to your Croissant Wallet after your item is delivered to our warehouse and verified by our team.

Below is a full breakdown of how the payout process works.

1. When You Get Paid

You will receive your credit within 3–5 business days after your package is delivered to our warehouse.

Most items are processed within this window, but please note:

  • Weekends and holidays can delay processing.

  • High-volume periods may result in longer verification times.

  • You'll be notified as soon as your item is processed.

2. What Happens After Delivery

Once your package is marked as delivered:

  1. Your item is checked in.

  2. Our team verifies condition and authenticity (Croissant authenticates every item).

  3. Your payout credit is added to your Croissant Wallet.

3. Where Your Credit Goes

All payouts go straight to your Croissant Wallet, which you can access via the Croissant iOS app.

4. Converting Credit to a Gift Card

You can convert your Croissant credit into a gift card at our retail partners — including Revolve, FWRD, Nordstrom, and more. Open your Wallet, select the retailer, and tap Convert to Gift Card to generate your code. You don't need to spend your full balance at once.

For a full walkthrough — including how to use the browser extension to apply your code, what to do if a gift card shows as invalid, and mobile app limitations — see How to Convert Credit to a Gift Card →

5. Using Credit While Shopping

You can spend your credit directly at checkout on eligible sites using the Croissant Integrated Checkout. When signed in the app surfaces your available balance so you can apply it before completing your purchase.
