What If I Selected the Wrong Retailer?

Once a gift card is issued with its code and funds, it can't be refunded, exchanged, or moved to another retailer.

Pick your retailer carefully

Because a gift card can't be changed after it's issued, choose the right retailer before you confirm. When you redeem:

In the app

Check the amount you're redeeming ① (up to your available credit).
Select the retailer ② — tap the box next to it.
Tap Confirm ③ — a Confirm Redemption prompt then shows the retailer and amount (e.g. "redeem $100 to FWRD?"). Review it, and tap Redeem ④ only when it's right.

Click the retailer ② you want.
Click Get a gift card ③ (the button shows your amount). A pop-up then shows the retailer and amount — for example "Turn $100 into a FWRD gift card?" Review it, and click Get gift card only when it's right.

Your credit stays flexible in your Wallet until you redeem, so you decide when, how much, and which retailer. For the full steps, see How to convert credit to a gift card.

Why it can't be changed

Like a physical gift card bought in a store, digital gift cards can't be returned once funds are loaded. Croissant distributes these gift cards and can't reverse or redirect funds after one is issued — so double-check before confirming.
